After a consultation
We provide a private prescription for free; however, you will need to pay the pharmacy for the item and their dispensing costs as with any private prescription.

Stand alone requests
Requests for private prescriptions without consultation are available for any item we have previously prescribed for you. Your request will be assessed for suitability, and we will either agree to prescribe or recommend a further consultation. If we agree to prescribe, this will incur a charge of £25 per prescription.

After a consultation
One referral letter per consultation is provided for free. We reserve the right to charge extra for multiple referral letter requests within the same consultation.

Stand alone requests
We can consider the requests for referral letters for conditions we have previously treated or referred you for outside of a consultation. Your request will be assessed for suitability, and we will either agree to prescribe or recommend a further consultation. If we agree to prescribe, this will incur a charge of £25 per prescription.

After a consultation
Fit notes are free of charge for all members. Fit notes are offered only if there is an identified clinical need.

Stand alone requests
Fit notes are offered if there is an identified clinical need, and therefore you will always require a consultation.

After a consultation
We assess if we can help on a case-by-case basis during a clinical consultation, with a minimum charge of your consultation fee plus a £25 administration fee for writing your letter.
We are happy to help where we can – however, some letters require sight of your NHS medical records, so they are better done by your NHS GP.
